Composition is how elements in a picture are placed. Using lines, shapes, form, space, color, and texture you can give your viewer an idea of what is important and what is less so.
A Line definds a shape. It can show how tall or thick something is and gives the sense of space. The Shape itself identifies an object and its height and width.
Form is like shape with depth. You will be able to see more than one side of an objects.
Space is the area in which your elements occupy. Space around an object is negative the space the object is in is positive.
Color gives the mood of your picture. Bright colors gives a light feeling and dark color could give a mysterious feeling. Value is this level of brightness.
